I swear to God it is left to teachers.

HPV is not tested in men and condoms do not protect you from it, so even if you are as careful as you can be, you are still at risk. This added to thoughts of teens like "Guys have less sperm when they are young" and "You can't get pregnant if you pull out".. it does lead to a need for a vaccine. Almost everyone has been exposed to HPV, just some people are lucky enough to not have their bodies react to it.

I do not wish any girl to ever be in my position. I honestly thought I would be better off dead than not be able to have kids. I still find it hard to be around pregnant people and babies at times. Sex is not the same since I had a hysterectomy. It is the hardest thing I have ever gone through, having to have a hysterectomy at 32. I would not wish that on anyone..Kathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10003299929444668333noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8605757.post-4524648339317362882012-07-02T19:09:49.621-06:002012-07-02T19:09:49.621-06:00well I was baptised and raised catholic until I wa...well I was baptised and raised catholic until I was about 12, and I don't get them either.

I couldnt agree more. You should want your child to have every opportunity to live a long healthy life. Vaccines are vaccines, if there is one out there, you should get it! It doesn't promote promiscuity, it's prevention!! You could get married, and only sleep with your husband, and still contract hpv, it isn't an easy detection in men!!

I had to get on the pill quite early in life, due to severe "girl troubles" but if anything it made me more abstinent, I felt like my Mom "expected" me to be having sex once I was on the pill, and I wanted to be a good kid. It's more about how you raise your kids, and the values you teach them, as opposed to how you try to protect them from whatever it is you can.

being open with me about life, and sex was the best thing my mom could've done for me. it wasn't taboo and I didn't feel the need to sneak around. I wanted my parents to respect and trust me and that came from my respect of them for treating me the way they did.Fizzgighttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12086526805778452531noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8605757.post-71187335065389464552012-06-30T11:16:35.850-06:002012-06-30T11:16:35.850-06:00Who owns your children, you or the State? If you are going to do something, you are going to do it, and there is no reason not to equip people with the tools they need to be safe.Fizzgighttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12086526805778452531noreply@blogger.com
