Ode to Canadian Idol...

Damn... all you in blogland missed a pretty good concert... Rex Goudie (I now own his guitar pick thanks to Michelle), Brian Melo and Kalan Porter... basically a free concert (I made a $25 donation to the food bank)... I won on the radio... the radio in this city has been very kind to me... concert tickets... $50 in Pigsback money...

They all sung their hit songs... and I must say that they sound very good live - all three of them. I like that... it means that they actually ARE good singers... and they don't need mixers and woofers and tweeters (yeah - I don't know anything about the soundboard thingy).

Here are a couple of pictures from the night... very intimate - at most I was a dozen feet away... well - unless I was in line for autographs... damn... I am a groupie!!
