You Learn Something New Every Day

Today I learned:

- that when you make fake guns from your fingers to shoot incompetent drivers, other drivers will take the opportunity to laugh at you... or perhaps share in my pain.

- finding an esthetician who loves my eyebrows as much as I do (especially after the last chick tried leaving me with none) is a great thing to find... and I found one today. Yippee for the future of my brows!

- shoe repair men are my new heroes. I mean - $10.00 to fix my shoes instead of paying $60.00 for a new pair... awesomeness.

- on the flip side - walking into a shoe store's going-out-of-business sale to find a pair of $150.00 shoes marked down to $45.00 is freaking awesome - even more awesome is that they were in my size!

- Costco's return policy let me down for the first time ever today. On a brighter note - my iPod wasn't actually dead - it was just playing dead - or maybe dressing up as dead for Halloween. Needless to say a trip to the internet saved me $300 or so on a new iPod. So really - I didn't need the return policy anyways.

- it is important that when you are contemplating going cosmic bowling with a guy that you purchase a black bra so that the girls don't glow... and since I have my consultation for my breast reduction coming up I didn't want to spend big bucks on a big bra... I found one in my size on sale for $40.00 - considering I paid $150 for my last bra $40.00 is a freaking miracle.

Sorry for my boring post, but I am only days away from earning the October NaBloPoMo badge of honour... a post for every day of the month (hey - I even posted twice some days!!)... I'd hate to blow it with only a few days left.

Oh - and sorry for the many varaitions of the word awesome in this post. Apparently I have been transported in time back to the early 90's.

I considered commenting in as many "awe" variations as I could and decided that it was just too much work for as many glasses of wine that I've had.
    Awe-righty, then.
