February Bullet Points
- I officially own my condo.
- Within minutes of owning my condo I started refinishing my kitchen and bathroom cabinets. A whole post on this will follow.
- I've been sick. Like sleep all day, actually got convinced to use a neti pot sick. Missed a week of work, but it was a slow week, so I probably didn't miss much. Well, nothing that I'm sure I can't catch up by 10am on Monday anyways.
- I've been watching a lot of curling. The Canadian Women's championship is this week (the Scotties) and I'm cheering for Ontario. I dislike Manitoba and Jennifer Jones. She seems so prickly.
- I head to Edmonton next weekend to watch a draw of the Canadian Men's curling championships (the Brier). I hope there is a John Morris sighting. This trip will include a stop at the Donut Mill. Both directions.
- In just over a month I'll be in Turkey. Which I kind of just giggled at because it'll be Easter and normally I cook a turkey at Easter.
- I'm constantly laughing at people that feel the need to keep up with the mythical Jonses. Cause I'm sure all of the really cool Jonses live in a puddle of debt too. Or not.
- I'm taking a "how to tile a backsplash" clinic at Home Depot tomorrow. Cause I'm all about do-it-yourself renos.
- I'm still addicted to Pinterest. I wish pinning was a job.
- You all should look up clips of "Whose Line is it Anyways" on YouTube. Especially ones with Richard Simmons. You can thank me later for the ab workout.

Turkey!? How cool -- can't wait to hear all about it!
ReplyDeleteAnd congratulations on your condo! As someone who has never owned real estate, I'm kind of in awe.
way to go, moving in and getting right to making it your "own"! suprisingly, pinning can sorta be a job! we have a small group of people at my employer that peruse twitter, facebook, and pinterest all day for "research". granted, they don't make much, but how fun would that be?
