Another New Guy...

So... even with the emense hate I have going on for Lavalife, I still feel the need to log on every once in a while so see if anyone has looked at me, or even better... smiled at me.

I was surprised when on Sunday night, I received a smile from my latest New Guy... or is this the new New Guy... or New Guy squared?? I don't know... so until he is good enough to get a cool nickname in blogland... all new guys will start out with the title of New Guy.

His picture looks fine... he is not "holy crap I just stumbled over my own feet because I was staring at him as I was walking down the street" good looking, but as far as I can tell he isn't a troll either. And that equals good points in my book...

He says he is 5'11"... which, if he is not lying is a good height - I seem to fluctuate between 5'10" and 5'11" so he shouldn't be any shorter than I am - that is me being a height snob and not wanting to date guys that I could fit under my armpit... sorry short guys... I am sure you are nice/funny/interesting etc. but I just can't do it.

In the few e-mails we have exchanged he seems pretty funny. The same kind of funny I am which honestly is pretty freaking hilarious at times. One liners and witty (also known as sarcastic) comments... all in the name of fun.

Seems to have a head on his shoulders... that is he has a job and doesn't live in his parent's basement... although at age 33 he is only just getting a passport... but he is at least getting one so I can't bitch too much about it.

I am not getting my hopes up, but he does share a liking for my favorite hockey team... and really - if he isn't carrying any communicable diseases he is better than the last guy.

Is it wrong that because his e-mail address is also his name that I facebooked him? Didn't think so.
