The Art of Building a Protoype...

Okay - lets face it - there is no art involved... just blood, sweat and tears. Okay - that may be a slight exaggeration, but you get the drift. Jenn and I saw this cool flip album at the scrapbook store on Card Club night, and we decided that we could build one without paying the $25.00. So this morning, Jenn attacks the papercutter at work and builds a crude template using a lot of tape - but she got the basic shape right-on! I surf SCS in the afternoon and find a pattern... the lady has done a great job - but since I also have a picture of another flip album with colors I like better, I am trying to adapt her template with the picture... and there is a lot of cutting involved. So much that I am done for tonight... but I will definitely finish it on the weekend...
Now I am off to make a couple of cards - it is my nephew's birthday tomorrow and my friend Jen's mom's birthday as well... Justin won't appreciate the card (especially since I am not putting any money in it)... but Gretty should... hopefully! If I get them done in time I will post them for all to see.

Oh - and yet ANOTHER freaking meeting tomorrow with no agenda... I think I am going to go on strike - or better yet - work to rule... oh yeah, I already am doing that...
