Today the big boss came in my office to ask me a question.

Once we dealt with the issue at hand he asked if I was happy.

And if I was going to be sticking around for awhile, to which I assured him that I had no plans of leaving.

It feels good to know you're appreciated at work, and they want you to stick around.

I should've taken the opportunity to ask for a raise.
