Wowzers - I think I was meant to live "Amish"...
So, another power outage on the weekend - this one blew the power source on my computer - so $77.35 later and a new power souce later, I am back up and running. It just isn't in the cards for me to be connected to the internet these days!
The College Heights Craft Fair wasn't as good as UNBC - just under $500.00 in total - but I did better than the people beside me - they were down $320.00 from the same fair last year. So - I don't feel so bad - and I got some orders as well so that is good.
I am making a point of not crafting this week - well, not for fairs anyways - anything I make will end up as personal use or as gifts... so I can only show a few things since some of the people getting gift may actually read my ramblings...
The first is three cards using Inky Antics stamps - watercolored on the FABULOUS Fabriano Mediovalis paper I got awhile ago. They are plain - I may add a ribbon down the side - but I don't want to take away from the texture of the paper.
The last card is stamped using a stamp from American Art Stamps - I found them online and have already placed two orders - they are very whimsical stamps and they are great when you don't want to do a lot else with a card...
That's all for now folks! I just snow-blowed (is that a word??) my driveway at 9:30 at night (so far no angry calls from the neighbours) - we have gotten about 4-6 inches of snow since 3:00 today - the roads coming home from the Cougars game were crappy!!!

Thats too bad about the sales difference, but getting personal orders is pretty cool..and the latest posts are fantastic as usual.
ReplyDeleteI will try and call tonight but G-baby is very unhappy due to his molars.
I hope you are ok - we went to Kelly Road today and I couldn't find you - the front desk group didn't have your name on the list - did we walk right by you?
ReplyDeleteI hope everything is ok and I look forward to a post from you... or a call - I left my cell on your voice mail. Not to be a panicky friend... but I am...
