Overcommitted...

In general, I lead a pretty "easy" life.

I work 95% of the time 8:30-4:30, Monday to Friday, and the 5% of the time my hours differ, I get compensated with time in lieu as extra days off.

I enjoy watching a couple of local hockey teams... that gets me out of the house (normally) a couple of nights a week.

I play floor hockey one night a week.

But generally, I'm not super busy (unless you're trying to schedule dinner with me, and then I seem to be unavailable all the time... go figure).

But last week, and for the next two weeks, I'm kind of in over my head.

I've got my regular job.

My blog teaching gig on Monday nights.

And I'm right in the middle of classes I'm taking for a certificate I'm working on... I was in class all day yesterday, and have class for the next few Tuesday and Thursday nights, for three hours each night.

It's not like I'm cancelling plans to take part in any of these commitments.

But seriously, the relationship that I have with my couch and PVR will be seriously be suffering for the next couple of weeks.

Bring on the end of November, when I can go back to my regular lumping.
