Travel Planning... the beginning
So - it was a couple of weeks ago now that I suggested a weekly post on how my travel planning is going for my trip to Eastern Europe in the Spring.
I booked my flights over three months ago... and truth be told, I have everything but one hostel booked and a couple of train trips that I can't book until I'm actually at my departure point because - well, booking trains in Eastern Europe is hard work (trust me, I've watched enough episodes of the Amazing Race to know this).
You can say that I suffer from travel OCD. I love travelling, I love seeing and visiting new things... but I want to have a plan. Or at least a list.
Lists are good.
This trip will be one of my first in the last five years that are actually paid for before I leave. Crazy eh? I'm kind of liking the whole not-going-into-debt-to-travel thing. It'll be a refreshing change not to have to pay for this vacation long after my return home.
It's like I'm growing up or something.
So... here is my plan (or at least a map of my plan). Over the next while I plan on highlighting each of the places I plan on visiting and asking advice from anyone that's ever been to any of these places - I don't want to miss anything!
