BBC 50 Places to See Before You Die...

I really wanted to do a post on the 1000 Places to See Before You Die, but I can't check the book out until later and I am bored and wanted to do a post anyways. So I decided on the BBC 50 Places to See Before You Die instead - probably a slightly more attainable list anyways... here is the list and my progress so far...

Now that I have seen this list I am not too happy with it... I think I need to find myself a 50 Places to See in Canada or BC or something... then I have at least half a chance of seeing more than half the things on the list.

ETA... Here is a list of 139 Things to See in Canada... and I have actually done bunches of these things like:
- visiting the Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden in Vancouver
- walking the sea wall in Stanley Park
- have tea at the Empress Hotel in Victoria
- visit Buchart Gardens
- visit the wineries of the Okanagan
- visit the icefields in Banff National Park
- get lost in West Edmonton Mall
- party at the Calgary Stampede
- drive across the Canadian prairies
- tour the RCMP museum (for what it is worth... damn RCMP... no hard feeling there!)
- visit the Rideau Canal Locks, Parliament Buildings and saw the Museum of Civilization in Ottawa/Hull
- saw a Toronto Blue Jays baseball game at Roger's Stadium
- drove through Brantford, Ontario - home of Wayne Gretzky
- saw the Aurora Borealis (northern lights) in Whitehorse, YT

Things that I think should be on the list that I have done:
- watched an NHL hockey game (and watched Team Canada play as well!)
- visited the Hockey Hall of Fame
- visit Barkerville - home of the Canadian gold rush
- swam in the Pacific Ocean and collected buckets of jellyfish
- cheered at a Canadian Curling Final (yeah for Kelly Law at the Scotties in PG)
- eaten a beavertail (and poutine) in Ottawa

Hmmm... I think I need to travel to Eastern Canada and the Maritimes...
