A Pretty Decent Human...
Yeah - that is me. For not jumping out of my car and pummelling the guy who backed into me in the middle of the street... one broken bumper and a business card later, once again - I have to be the one that runs around like a chicken with my head cut off getting quotes and crap.
Why is it always the person who got hit (hit and run, etc.) that has to do all the work?
AND... he destroyed my Canucks licence plate-thingy... I personally think that was his intent since he was one of the crazy SOB's with FOUR Calgary Flames flags hanging from his SUV...

Sorry about the crap! Once the season starts again, I can easily pick up a license plate thingy for you. Just remind me if I forget. What a pain! I had a guy back in to me - yes HE backed in to ME - then lied to the cops. If it hadn't been for an eye witness (cause I had been laying on my horn the whole time he was backing up) he'd have got off and I'd be the one getting blamed. And I was 9 months pregnant at the time...ya..those were the days...hehehe
ReplyDeleteTake care and hope it all works out as stress free as possible!

Sorry to hear about the accident and sorry about the Canucks plate cover! You'll need that replaced in the fall!! Crazy Flames fans anyway...
ReplyDeleteBe sure to include the license thingy in your insurance claim. Including postage to get a new one.
ReplyDeleteSorry about your luck...I here ya though. When DH was rear-ended by a postal truck, it was (and remains) a logistical nightmare!
ReplyDeleteBTW, we have been well aware of the supertrain.ca show! It is Tristan's birthday party next weekend so guess where we are going! Yep, four preschoolers and us looking at model trains...woo hoo! Thanks for the tip (I am sure Tristan would have us out sleeping in our van just so we could be the first ones in!).
