Travel Bag...

No - I'm not talking about a person... I'm talking purses here (which in itself is the craziest thing in the world to people who've known me forever cause in high school I was the girl that carried a men's wallet in her back pocket... my purse obsession has only started in the last couple of years... and now I have like $1000 worth of bags in my closet)...

I put the call out to Twitter this morning recommending a good travel bag/purse that I could take to the UK (am I annoying you guys yet - I mean... I'm not even going until September).  It needs to be small enough to still classify as a purse for carry-on purposes, and it needs to be big enough to carry my camera, wallet, and other miscellaneous things like possibly an umbrella and some maps.

When I went to Europe a couple of years ago, I carried along my MEC bag, and it worked well... but it isn't the most stylish accessory out there.

This year, I've decided (I think) on the Roots Venetian Village bag... a friend has one, and it is big enough for what I need, without it being a full-out messenger bag.  Tough thing is it is about a zillion dollars.

Before I purchase anything, does anyone else have any other ideas? Anyone? Bueller?
